Using In the Bag involves four steps as follows:
- Make your list. Select 'Add to List' in the upper-right-hand drop-down. Left and right arrow keys can be used to change the selection of this drop-down. Then highlight items that need to be added to your list and push the Add to List button. Or use the New Item menu item to add a new item.
- Review your list. Select 'View List' in the drop-down and view the items currently on your shopping list (for all stores). Use the Remove button to remove unpurchased items from your list (use the Checkout menu item described below for purchased items).
- At the store, use your list to retrieve items in the most efficient order. Select 'At <Store>' in the drop-down to see the items for the store, sorted by the department order you have configured. See the Store Setup help topic for information on configuring the order of departments in a store. As you find items and place them in your cart, use the 'Add to Cart' button to mark them as in your cart.
- When you checkout and leave the store, use the Checkout menu item to record a purchase for each item in your cart. These items are of course removed from your list.
If you are looking for a particular item, use your device's keyboard feature to key in a portion of the item's name. The list will be filtered according to the letters you type.
The Purchase History menu item can be used to review your previous purchases of an item.
The Add/Sort Departments menu item is active when the view is 'At <Store>' and allows you to edit and/or reorder the departments for the current store.
